For Northern Ports and Westport, also Australian States, etc., to connect with Victoria, per Rotomahana, at 7.20 p.m.; late fee letters, 7.35 p.m.; guard’s van, 8.35 n.m. tr-in. The next mail from the United Kingdom is duo in Christchurch on Dec. 18, via San Francisco. Mails for Tonga, Samoa and Fiji, per Msnapouri, close at Auckland on Dee. 17, at 4 p.m. • Mails for Raratonga -and Tahiti, per Ovalau, close at Auckland on Doc. 30, at 4 p.m. Mails for South Africa leave Melbourne on Dec. 31.
