ENTERTAINMENTS.
Last Thursday evening over thirty members of the Orescent Rond Baud of Hope gavo an enjoyable entertainment in the Burwood schoolroom, on behalf of the school prize fund. The head master 'thanked the performers for their excellent programme. On Thursday evening, in. St -Michael’s school, Mr H. R. Wilkinson exhibited to the pupils of the West Christchurch school an interesting series of lantern pictures, .illustrating the. “New Zealand Wonderland,” as seen in a trip up the Wanganui River and through the Hot Lakes district of the North Island.
