ENTERTAINMENTS.
The Oddfellows’ Hall at Lyttelton was irowded on Friday night, when the pupils
of the Lyttelton Convent School gave am i entertainment, most cred liable themselves and their instructors. The programme comprised a humorous trio, “ Grandpa’s Spoiled Darlings”; a cantata, “Red Riding ■' Hooda comic duet, “A Matrimonial Difference” ; a farce, “ Oox and Box” ; a recitation by the younger children, “The Children's Choice”.; a violin solo; a pianoforte duet; two orchestral selections; and several choruses. Those taking part in it were Misses Lodder, Oissi© Smith, . Lena Olsen, Kitty Burns, Cecilia Williams, ■ K. M'Convill©, Rose Madden, Lily Parker, Johanna Lufaro, Rose Bums, Eily Flynn . and Rena Murray, and Masters Lodder (3), J. Gallagher, L. Radovanovitch and T. : Joyce, and the children of the singing class. The items were well rendered, and the presses and mounting were very pretty.'
