Time—.2min 12s:ec. . . ■ ' The South'Canterbury Amateur, Athletic Club', ivhich' has hitherto held its sports meeting in May, this year has made three important alterations. The subscription has been reduced from 20s to 10s, the' sports reduced from two days to one, and the .meeting fixed for. December instead of May. This year the sports -will be held on Tuesday next, Anniversary Day. An interesting meeting is looked forward to, as good entries are being received.
