THE KENIEFS.
AN APPEAL DISMISSED. United 'Proas Association. —By Electric Telegraph—Copy right. . ■ (Received Dec. 10, 10.18 p.m.) I BRISBANE, Dec. 10. The Full Court, consisting of the Chief Justice and! three other Justices, heard an appeal against the conviction of the Senills. The grounds of the appeal "were that there was no evidence of Doyle's death, and that there was no evidence, that Patrick and James Kenift' acted in' concert. The "Court upheld the conviction, Mr Justice Real dissenting. He said that there, was sufficient evidence that Doyle was dead, but no evidence to support the theory that James Keniff took part in the murder, unless they accepted the conjecture that he would ■naturally help his brother. His presence ■on the seen© was involuntary, he being at the time a prisoner in Doyle's custody.
