ENGLISH WORKERS IN AMERICA.
THEIR EYES OPENED. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. NEW YORK, Nov. 27. t ■ Some of the members of Mr Mosely’s Commission declare they have received so many eye-openers in America that, it would be difficult to convince Englishmen of the unexaggerated truth. They have been especially struck with the encouragement given to' workers’ inventions, . and also with the wide application of labour-saving machinery overcoming difficulties which are considered insuperable in England. (Received Nov. 28, 10.50 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 28.
Mr Mosely’s Commission was specially amazed at the equipment of the American cotton mills, which are far superior to those of Lancashire.
