TO THE EDITOR. . , Sir, —I believe Mrs Howie is expected back to New Zealand by the end of the present month. Now, I hare a suggestion to, make, and that is, that all the Natives, past and present members, combine, and give Mrs Howie a most fitting welcome home. She has taken a most lively interest in its welfare, and has also helped it. in various ways. Hoping some abler pen will take the matter np,—l am, etc., ONE OF ITS MEMBERS
