MATTHEWS.—In loving aid tender remembrance' of Mary, tho beloved wife of James Matthews, who departed this life at Dampier's Bay, Lyttelton, ■ September 30, 1890; aged sisty-four years. Thy will be done. • \ Inserted by her loving husband and family. RIOBDAN.—In fond a.nd loving remembrance of Thomas Floianco Riordan', who ' died at Invorcargiil. Sept. 30th, 1901; aged thirty-four years. Late of Opawa, Christ- ' church. So loved, so mourned. We saw him suffer day by-day, It caused' us ibitter grief To'see him alow'y fade -away, And could not give relief. v . Lonely tho home and sad-the hours, Since our loved ono has gone; But, oh, a, brighter home than outs, In heaven is now his own. Inserted, by his loving- wife.
