FIRES.
• At about eight o'clock yesterday morning •firebroke out in an eight-roomed dwellingBouse'owned by MrVG. J.'Brown, and occupied by Mr J. Jones/in Selwyn Street, . Addington. The building, which was known . as the "Crown Store," was completely -destroyed. lb is stated that'the fire was through a defective' chimney. The insurances are:—On,"'the building, £2OO, in the Guardian Office, and on the furniture £75,.in the Royal Office; and £375 on the -stock in the Alliance Assurance Office.
