Mails close for the following places, as un. der, subjeot to the necessary alterations: — Mails per Express to Dunedin and South close daily at 10.30 a.m.; lato fee, i.e., letters bearing Id additional stamp, 10.40 a.m.; also, on aa-fl van, up to 11 a.m.; books newspapers 10 a.m. TUESDAY, JUNE 24. San Franoisco Mail Day. For Northern Ports and West Coast, also Samoa, Hawaii, Philippines, Japan, United States, Canada, etc., also Continent of Europe and United Kingdom, via San Francisco (due London July 26), per Rotamshana, at 8 p.m.; late fee letters, 8.15 p.m.! guard's van, 9.15 p.m. train; m6ney orders, 4 p.m.; registered articles and parcels for United States, 5 p.m.; books and iiewspapira, 7.30 p.m. For Greymouth and West Coast, per Dingadee, at 4.20 -p.m.; We fee letters-, 4.35 p.m.; guard's van. 5.80 p.m. train. For Northern. Ports, per Warner a, at 31 p.m.; fe'te fee _ letters, 8.15 p.m.; guard's I van, 4 p.m. train. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 25. For Dunedin, pea: Tteaw«r-a, -ait 11.10 a.m.; 1-ate fee letters, 11.20 am.; guard's van, 12.-10 p.m. lirain. THURSDAY, JUNE 26, For Northern Porta and Westporii, per Rotamanana, sub 9 a.m.; guard's van t 9.15 p.m. itTain. , CORONATION DAY—THURSDAY, JUNE 26. The Post Office will be open for the sale of, stamps and delivery of letters only from 8.30 to 9.30 a.m. The usual despatch of mails will be made up to 9 a.m., and the im'ail3 ;'for south express will close at that hour. There will he ub delivery by letter-carriers on Thursday, Jun« 26, but a counter delivery of all correspondence- will he made on Wednesday 'between .7.30 and 8.30 p.m., and letters may he obtained at the Post Office counter from B.SO to 9.30 a.m. on Thursday. A mail for South Africa closes at Melbourne en Juno 25. A mail from Capo Town is due in Christchurch on Juno 24, per Waimate. The next mail from the United Kingdom is due in Christchurch on June 24 via Brindisi. Mails for Tonga, Samoa and Fiji, per Manapouri, close at Auckland July 2. Mails for Raratonga and Tahiti, per Taviuni close at Auckland on July 15. Mails for Fiji, per Moura, close at Auckland on July 18. R. KIRTON.
