A switch was fired on the Pelicliet Bay range, on Christmas Day between Linwood Rifles and Dunedin Rifles, 'the conditions being seven shots at. 300, 500 and 600yds, the Linwood team winning ,by seven points. The Chriatohurcb men .hud been travelling all night prior to the match- Private Chamberlain,, of the Linwood-Rifiefl, made the highest score for the, day, namely; 75.
