. The New Zealand Lawn Tenuis* Championship Tournament was continued to-day in splendid weather and there was a largo attendance of spectators. Several specially interesting games were played. The results are:

THE AiSHBURTON TOURNAMENT,

Play was resumed early on Saturday morning in the A ahburton tournament, but 'the long delay's of the two preceding days on account of iihe rain prevented all the- matches from being finished. Great interest centred in the meeting between A. Wilding and Collins in the second round of the Men's Championship Singles. Collins showed some excellent volleying, tut his opponent's ground atrokes were so> fast and weil-pliaced that the two first sets arid) the match went to Wilding who will play Lynch in the final to-day. Harniim and Collins beat White and Jackson i; •the third round of the Championship Double?, in which sojna first-class tennis was shown. Collins'a volleying was' quite good enough tc sustain his reputation as one of the finest volleyed in New Zealand. Miss Campbell, of Dunedin, in beating Miss Harrna.n in the final round of tho Ladies' Single Championship proved & player of aierling merit.
