DAKFIELD

At the Dnrfield' monthly. market on Friday, the entry consisted 0f;2250 sheep ;nd lambs, the bulk being ewes with lambs at foot. There was a. good attendance, bub excepting for good young sheep, which sold well, there was no alteration In prices, the only line that was dull -of s«la being freezing wethers, the whole of which failed to find buyers, and went to tha freezing works en 'owners' account. ■ Sales wera—-Freezing lambs 12s 6d to'l3s'6_d, the latter price being given for a, nice line of 220 on account of Mr A. Kelson ; fat crossbred ewes, 8s to 10s 3d; fat merino ewes, 10s Id ; wethers, 9s 10d ; two-tooth crossbred ewes, 10a ; cross-bred ewes (agad), with lambs at foot, 6s 3d to 6s 9d, all counted; aline of 240 was passed at Bs. The above were all out of wool. A line of 156 crossbred ewes in the wool, with lambs, 7s 6d all counted.
