The annual sale of work fey the ladies of •tii? congregation of St Majry's. ■■Church-, Merivale, was .opened yesterday afternoon-, and I'lie proceeds Avill b;?. devoted to the schoolroom building funds. The various stalls were nicely decorated with spring flowers, an-d were 'presided' over by the following ladies :—Needlework stall, Sirs "A." L. Parsons, Mrs Foley and Miss Scrivenor; fancywork stall, Mesdames Greenwood' and' Brown; toy stall, Miss Jenkins; sweet stall, Miss Stringer, Miss- Milsom and Miss .Winston.; produce stall, Mrs and Miss Allan; flower stall, Miss Hargreaves and Miss Gaxrard; fis-h pond, Miss Baker; *&& refreshment rooms-, Miss Milsom.
