[Peu Pkess Association.] AUCKLAND, Oct, 1. The Building Committee of St Matthew's new Anglican Church received' tenders for building the new church, exclusive of fittings or lighting. The 'highest was £39,000, and the lowest £34,225. As the lowest is about £IO,OOO higher than the English architect's estimate, the committee is unable to accept any tender. Only four local tenders were received, and from Wellington, OliTirbrihurch and Dmiedin, where tenders were advertised, none were forthcoming.
