Cape Town during th e ceremony of installing the Duke of Cornwall as Chancellor of the Cape University was decorous, and in striking contrast to the uproarious behaviour of the undergraduates of Melbourne and Sydney. The Duke of Cornwall laid the buttress stone of a mew cathedral here, and the Duchess laid the corner stone of the Queen Victoria Nurseis’ Home. Both exchanged farewell' messages with Lord Kitchener.
