Opinions expressed in the correspondence columns of a newspaper are not always to be taken as being identified with the political character of such paper. Hence the difference of political sentiments expressed by “ Reynolds s pro-Boer correspondent; and the authorised article, entitled “Colonial Democracy, go to prove that the editor is in accord with New Zealand and her stoe am, etc.; ANOTHER ENGLISHWOMAN.
