CYCLING.

A meeting of the Canterbury Athletio and Cycling Club was held on Tuesday evening; present—Messrs J. H. Parker (chairman), J. Montague, J. Findlay, P. Mason, E. Andrew, H. G. Ward, F. D. Kesteven, J. Kennedy, S. A. Edingar, and E. J. Righton (secretary). It was resolved to have the billiard-table re-cushion-ed and to procure incandescent r lights. The amended rules were received from the Registrar of Friendly Societies and approved. It was resolved that a rifle shooting championship should be instituted; and that medals should be presented for the highest scores, and also the highest score with handicaps. Mr Edinger was added to the Rifle Shooting The Secretary was instructed to xet the rifle range l on such nights as the club members were not using it. The outstanding subscriptions for last season were dealt with. A vote of thanks was passed to Mr J. Lunvniis,. for having given a shooting prize.
