ANOTHER DYNAMITE BURGLARY.
LITTLE RIVER RAILWAY STATION BROKEN INTO. , [From Our Cobiiesi'ondent.] LITTLE RIVER, Auguot 1. The Little River Railway Station was broken into on Wednesday night, and the> safe,, which was built in by concrete, was blown open by explosives. The thieves had first secured the lineman's trolly and tools, which were in the station yard, and then bored two one-inch holes in the door, above and below the lock, and inserted a pick and levered the door open. They secured seme. empty i sacks out of the goods-shed by emptying out some potatoes that were there. The sacks were' laid against the front of the safe, probably to deaden the sound. The explosive was inserted in the key-hole and connected with a fuse, a quantity of small pieces of fuse being jound blown about the'room. The front oi'the safe was blown into pieces, and all the money in it stolen, including a sum due on old age pensions yesterday, and soma stamps. _ • The thieves disconnected the wires and rode away on the lineman's trolly. -■ They were heard passing Birdling's Flat veryearly yesterday morning. Two men were seen loitering about the station about ten o'clock on Wednesday night, and the residents heard an explosion between midnight and one o'clock yesterday morning.
