The^Lea Thieres quartette,, who made their first appearance at the Opera House last night, are very clever and graceful acrobats and trick cyclists, and; they ‘evidently made a most favourable impression on the audience. Miss- Della Ross, the young daneeuse, made her last appearance, but was ably replaced by Miss Daisy Harcourt. All the other performers.met with their usual success. On Wednesday night “ Sapps on ,l clearly kept ahead l of Sergeant-Major Dacombe in their contest, but the audience found the attraction of the Ophir’s man too ' great, and ho was adjudged winner, on the 'show of hands. To-night Mr T. Leonard will make his ire-appearance.
