The installation, of Bro Jaimes Johnston ah Worshipful Master of the Ashley Masonic Lodge took place at Rangiora last night; There was a large, attenidance hf members and.visiters from Christchurch, Kaiapdi and other centirei ; The dmstalktion ceremony was conducted' by R.W. Bro Willaam "Glikins, Grand Superintsuidf.ent, assisted! .by a, number , of the Grand Lodge .Officers. The officers invested were—l.P.M., Bro W. Wadey; S.W., Bro Hev F. P. Feudal!; J.W., Bro A. W. Hills; chaplain, Bro R. H. Ferguson;, treasurer, Bro C. Waterston; secretary, Bro G. F. Fnrhy, P.M. • S.D., Bro T. B. Ctekt*Well; J.D., Bib C. Leech; D.C., Bro A.,lvory; organist, Bro S. 6. Smith, P.M.; 1.6., Bro H. D. Bettger ; steivards, Bros H; Mehrtehs and W. Bridget; tyler, Bio 0. Fraser. After the ceremony a handsome Past Master’s jewel was presented to Bro G. F. Parky* in reobgmtioxi.of has valuable service© to the Lodge as secretary’ for three years. The meeting was followed 'by a banquet at the Oddfellows’ Hall, at whibh the customary toasts were honoured, and a number of vocal musical selections given. . .-.v. ....
