The Duke and Duchess of York were given an enthusiastic ‘‘send-off” at Dunedin yesterday. They came straight up to Lyttelton, and loft Now Zealand in HjM.iS, Ophir at eleven o’clock last evening. The man Alexander M’Lean* who was sustectcd of having perpetrated the murder# at last Eyxoton, was arrested (at Tinwaid yesterday. He confessed to the crime, and was' remanded to Christchurch. 'The Boers captured a patrol of twenty-five men at Paardekop, on June 16, and released them after stripping them of their anna and accoutrements.,
