For the Sogong seat in the Legislative Assembly, Mr Billson, a Ministerialist, was elected. •

Tlo initial visit of the Moana to Vancouver was marked by a luncheon given, by Captain Carey to the leading citizens of Vancouver. The Mayor, the American Consul arid Sir Charles Tupper were present. The Mayor toasted the health) of the captain and success to the Union Steamship Company.
