AGRICULTURAL STATISTICS.

In the “Gazette” of February 7 there appeared a return showing the estimated yield of wheat, oats and barley for the colony. The actual yields are now to hand; and are somewhat heavier than was anticipated. The estimated yield of wheat was twenty-seven bushels per acre, the actual yield was 31.61 bushels. Oats were estimated at 34 bushels, the actual yield was 42.45 bushels. Barley was estimated a-t thirty bushels, the actual yield was 35.33 bushels. There was an apparent surplus of wheat on hand on Feb. 28 of 3,260,659 bushels.
