TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —As a working man of Christchurch I fail to see haw Mr Turnbull could announce himself as a candidate at the coining election. Mr C. Taylor at last election polled well, and in his speeches proved he had the welfare of the workers in his heart. I should say Mr Turnbull is going to split the votes and allow Mr T. E.
