The Dunedin telegraph staff, having sent congratulations to Sir Joseph Ward on his luiigbthood immediately the news was received here,, has received a reply from the Postmaster-General, who says:—"Among the good wishes of many who are communicating with me I can assure you none are more highly appreciated than those coming from the officers of the old department in which I once served, and I wish you one and all every happiness."
