CURRENT NOTICES.
An extraordinary general meeting of the Canterbury Timber Yards, Sawmills and Coal Yards Employee*'- Union will be held to-night at eight in Inglis's Buildings. The choir of the Linwo'od Wesleyan Methodist Church will .give a service of song, entitled "Harry Neal," at the Salvation' Army Barracks, East Belt, in aid of rescue work to-night. Mr N. Turner, late major of the Salvation Army, will deliver his lecture "From Cradle to Gallows,", in the Mission Hall, Sydenham, to-night.
