MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.
At a meeting of the Directors of the Canterbury Caledonian Society, held on Feb. 13, it was announced that the winner of the scholarship offered by tlx© Society was Miss Helen Kininunonth, a pupil of the West Christchurch School. The scholarship is of the value of - HIS per-annuin, and tenable for two years at :the Girls’ High School, while. a third year’s, tuition will be granted to the successful candidate by the Board of Governors of Canterbury College.
