MARKET REPORTS.

_ GRAIN AND PRODUCE. The. exports of grain and produce from Lyttelton last week included the following li nes: —4slo sacks wheat, 2554 sacks and 5729 bags flour, 9792 sacks oats, 667 sacks barley, 191 sacks meal, 835 sacks malt, 938 sacks bran, 528 sacks sharps, 80 sacks pollard, 57 sacks.peas, 188 sacks, 482 bags and 30 gunnies potatoes, 62 sacks, 40bags and 12 gunnies onions, 745 sacks chaff, 168 bales hay and 1327 sacks grass seed, COALGATE. .. At the Coalgate Yards, on .Friday the entry was the largest seen in the district for some time, comprising about 12,000 sheep. There was a very large "attendance and good competition. Nearly all lines were cleared at the following prices:—Fat lambs from 14s 9d to 16s 4d, freezers from 18s 6d to 19s 2d; fat crossbred ewes to 15s lOd, forward lambs from 12s 2d to 13s lO.d, fourtooth ewes to 20s 6d, two-tooth ditto from 16s Id to 20s, older ditto 10s lid to 15s Bd, four-tooth wethers at 18s 2d, twotooth ditto at 16s lOd, merino wethers lis 6d to lis 9d. HORSE SALES. There was only a small entry of horses on Saturday, and there was not much demand at tlie Royal Exchange Yards. The principal business was done privately, draughts changing hands at £37 to £sl, At Tatter-sail's light hordes formed thebulk cf the offering, and a few of these were sold up to £l2. \ PIGS AND POULTRY. . - At Saturday's markets there was a medium entry of pigs, which brought late rates, stores ranging from lis to 19s, and suckers and weaners 6s 9.d to. 10s 6d. Poultry was in fair supply, and'good sorts sold we'll. .Roosters, made 2s ,9d. .to .4s 9d, hens 2s to 2s 9d, pullets 3s to 3s 6d, ducks 2s 6d! to 3s 9d, geese 4sl6d to 5s 6d, turkey gobblers 15s 6d, all at per pair.
