TVTOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the Road Board to be held at the Road Board Office, Kirwee, on TUESDAY, the fifth day of March, 1901, at 2 p.m., the following resolution will be proposed, viz:— That pursuant to the powers, provisions ant authorities contained in the Road Boards Act, 1882, the Public Works Act, 1894, and i the Acts amending the same, by-laws be made by'the Road Board for regulating the conditions on which Traction Engines engaged in heavy traffic, as defined by Section 130, Sub-section 1 of the Public Works Act, 1894, may be allowed to pass along the public roads within the Courtenay Road District, and for providing for a yearly license fee on, any Traction Engine engaged in heavy traffic within the said district for providing that the transportation on the roads in the said district of Traction Engines coming under the denomination of heavy traffic shall cease during the whole of the months of JUNE, JULY, AUGUST and SEPTEMBER, and fof imposing penalties for the breach of the by-laws.
