The watch appeared to have been given to the plaintiff by her son, who had since died. She had given, it to the defendant to get repaired, and he, who had been left all her son’s property subject to a small sum for her maintenance, refused to return it. The defendant said she had given the watch to him, but Mr. Bishop gave judgment for the plaintiff with costs.' Civil Cases.—ln the. following cases judgment was given for the plaintiff by default: —James Cooke v. J. Wakefield, claim £27 10s 6d ; same v., George Robinson, £4 17s- 6d.—The case of Myers v.
