SOME NEW EXHIBITS. , Some interesting additions have been made to the collection at the Christchurch Museum within the last week. . Mr J.- M. Heywood has rv' , "\ted four framed pictures of early Canterbury and a box made of a board frcm'the old Land Office, -which were shown in the Exhibition. The City Council has given the testimonial which was presented to the Mayor bv the old colonists at the. time of the Jubilee. In the Maori room have been, placed a Maori, mat . and a, model of a. Maori food store, presented by Mr George, of Kaiapoi. The model is very cleverly executed. The posts are carved in Maori "fashion, and the walls ar.d roof are made/of toiler sticks bound together with fiax string, while on the floor are flax mats.
