THE HEAT WAVE. (Received Feb. 13, 1 a.m.) The heat wave continues throughout the whole colony, the thermometer registers very 'feign in the interior, and there is prostrating humidity along the coast. The Broken Hill water supply is running short. THE RIVAL CABLES. BRISBANE, Feb. 12. The Government has decided to leave the question of the Eastern cable extension agreement to the Pacific Cable Board.
