[Per Press Association.] , . WELLINGTON. Jan. 22. LAt the Wellington Swimming Club’s sports to-day,, the 1 Provincial- Championship, of 100 ya-rds 1 , was won by E. Hegglin, of Blenheim. The Ladies’ Bracelet and 'Anniversary tlancticap were won by Duilio, of Foxton. The ’East Christchurch Club held a 105ycfe Race last night. The following, are the results:—'First heat:,C. Aynsley, Ilsec, 1; J. S. Wauchop, scr, 2. Time—SS'4-oscc. Second heat: H, Williams, Ilsec, 1; O. Ormandy, 11-sec, 2. Time—B3 l-ssec. Third heat; J.' -Gibb, 20sec, 1; F. Haworth, ISsec, 2. 'lime—--96 4-ssec. Final: H. Williams 1, C. Aynsley 2.- Time—Bs l-ssec. -.The final was a splendid race, both men going neck and neck for the last 'twenty-six yards. Mr -R. L. Bush was the starter, and Mr A. Calvert hanclicapper.
