ENTERTAINMENTS.
The annual “ social ” in connection with the Kaiapoi Cadets was held in the Drill Hall on Friday evening and was very successful., About eighty-eight couples took part in. .the grand march. The. music was supplied by Me?si’s Hoskins (cornet) and Bonnetfc , (piano).' The decorations were pretty, and the. floor was in good condition. .The supper was'laid in the orderly-room. The assembly broke up at three o’clock in the morning.
