CARD MATCHES.
A cuchra match was played on Thursday evening, at the Clarendon Hotel, between the employees of the Crown Brewery Company and ihoao of Messrs Ward and Company, and, after an exciting contest, resul' id in a draw, each side scoring 32 games, Mr Beasley proposed the health of " Tho Crown Brewery,'' coupled with the names of Mr Parsons and Mr Boulton, which was suitably responded to. An enjoyable evening was brought to a close with the singing of “Auld Lang Syne ” and “ God Save the Queen.”
