AUCKLAND NEWS.
[Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND. March 23. The Westport Harbour Board’s dredge Erskine, together with two steam hoppers, under charter to the Government, arrived at Onehunga this morning for the purpose of removing the obstruction in the harbour. The work of mantling the dredge will- be proceeded with at once, and will take about two weeks. The Colonial Sugar Company announces that prices of all grades of sugar have advanced 10s a ton.
