CHRISTCHURCH. / ' Wednesday, July 19. (Before Mr R. Beetham, S.M.). Drunkenness, etc. —A woman was charged with, when drunk, breaking a window in the Clarendon Hotel. As this was her first'offence, sloe was ordered to pay for the damage, ss, and was, discharged.Jonathan Kay, who came up in & bad state,was charged with being, drunk, and committing an act of indecency. He was remanded for seven days to undergo medical treatment. Alleged Larceny. —Mark Healey, jun., was charged with having, on July 12, at Rolleston, stolen from Mark sen., the sum of £l6 16s. On the application of the' police, he was remanded till July 21. Petty Theft. —A boy, aged ten' years, admitted having stolen five pocketknives, valued at 7s 6d, from a shop in St Albans. He was severely cautioned and discharged; RANGIORA. ■ Wednesday, July 19. (Before Mr E. R. Good, J.P., and Mr T. Keir, J.P.) Drunkenness. — J oseph Quinn, charged with being drunk in High Street, and using obscene language, was fined 10s and costs for the first offence, and was convicted and discharged on the second charge.
