Road Board iffdtiees HEATHCOTE ROAD BOARD. NOTICE is hereby given, that, under the provisions of Section IX4 of the Road. Boards Act, 1882, and the Eating Act, 1694; Sections 37, 38, 39 and 40, it is the intention of the Heathcote Eoad Board, at its Next Meeting, to be held on FRIDAY, AUGUST 4th, 1839, to MAKE AND BEVY A GENERAL RATE of Twenty-Nine-Fortieths of a Penny in the £, ON ALL THE RATEABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE DISTRICT. And, in accordance with a Special Order of the South Waimakariri River Board, dated April 10th, 1839, to LEVY A BATE of Four Sixty-Fourths of a Penny in the £ ON ALL RATEABLE PROPERTY comprised within the boundaries of Class 11. within the Heathcote DisfcncL And, in accordance with a Special Order of tee Christchurch Drainage Board, dated 12th April, 1899, to LEVY A RATE of Three Farthings in the £ ON ALL THE RATEABLE PROPERTY within the Rural Drainage Area within the Heathcote District. And, in compliance with an Order of the Sehvyn Coimty Council, dated 26th April, 1899, to MAKEAND LEVY’ A RATE for HOSPITAL and CHARITABLE AID PURPOSES, of One-Eighth of a Penny in the £, ON ALL THE RATEABLE PROPERTY within the Heathcote district. The General Rate, South Waimakariri River Board Rate, and Hospital and Charitable Aid Rate to lie for the period commencing on First Day of April, 1899, and ending the Thirty-first Day of March, 1900. The Drainage Rate to be for the period commencing First Day of January, 1899, and ending on the Thirty-first December, 1899. All the above Rates to be due and payable in one sum, on the Seventh Day of August, 1899, at the Road Board Office, Ferry Road, where the Rate-book is open for inspection d«ri. E July 19th, 1899.
