BUILDERS AND ARCHITECTS.

A dispute has been going on for some time between the builders and architects as to the terms on which contracts should be taken, and at one time the difference threatened to give rise to serious l complica-; tions. It is now suggested that a compromise should be effected on the lines of the conditions used by the British Architects Institute, modified to suit the New Zealand. Lien Act, and a conference is to be held to discuss the proposal.
