Sir W. V. Harcourt, addressing the Devonshire Club, denounced Lord Rosebery's proposal to obliterate the whole of Mr Gladstone's legacy. The Liberal Party deserved to be destroyed if it allowed Lord Rosebery to thwart its aims. He added tEafc Sir H., Campbell-Bahnerman was no apostle of reaction.;
