FEILDING GRIEVANCES.
AN INDIGNATION MEETING. [Per Press Association.] FEILDING, May 6. One of the largest and most representative meetings ever held, in Feilding took place last evening to express indignation at the apathy shown by the authorities in not providing a post and telegraph office suitable for the requirements of the extensive and important business done at this office; at the totally inadequate accommodation at the railway station in. respect of a goods shed and cattle yards, and for neglect in not commencing the reconstruction of the Feilding school, which was destroyed by fire five months ago. Leading business men and settlers took part in the discussion, and resolutions were passed urging the authorities to provide accommodation as indicated. The meeting, which was of a non-political nature, adjourned for a month, it being intended to hold indignation meetings from month to month until the matters* are attended to. A strong representative committee was appointed to carry out the resolutions. :
