’ • OT.ARKB. —In levin- niemory of William Clarke, who died May Bth, 1898. Wo saw him suffer day by day, - Which caused us bitter gr.ef. To see him slowly fade a Way, And-could not give relief. The pain was great, the blow severe. To pirt with him we loved so dear. Wo mourn him now in silence, No eye can see us weep, ■ : * ' But deep in our bosoms his memory we keep. Inserted by bis loving wife and children.
