Addressing the officers of the Fourth Army Corps, General Mcrcier said that the socalled military conspiracy only meant that the army intended to defeat its adversaries in whatever guise they appeared. It would be imprudent to encourage those who attacked the army, yet he was glad that the work of destruction had failed. The General s remarks were cheered.
