Public Notices MANDEVILLE AND RANGIORA RIVER BOARD. NOTICE OP SPECIAL ORDER. I HEREBY give notice that at the next monthly meeting of the Mandeville and Rangiora River Board, to be held at the Flaxton Library on THURSDAY, October 6th next, a Special Order will be made in accordance with the River Boards Act, 1884, Sec. 62 and 88, and of the Rating Act, 1882, Sec. 114, and the Rating Act, 1894, Sec. 37 to 43 inclusive, to MAKE and LEVY a General Rate of Onefourth of a Penny in the £ on the rateable value of the rateable property in the Mandeville and Rangiora River Board District for the year commencing on April Ist, 1898, and ending on March 31st, 1899. The said Rate to be due and payable in one sum at the Flaxton Library on THURSDAY, Nov. 3rd, 1898, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The Rate-book will be open for inspection at the Flaxton Store on and after MONDAY, Sept. 19th next.
