CARD MATCHES.
A euchre match was played on Wednesday evening in the Library at Waaau between teams representing the employees' of the flax-mill, and; the residents of. the township. The match resulted in a. win for the mill hands by four games.-- In a oribbage match on Friday evening, a team from the unmarried residents of Waiau' met and defeated a team of the married residents by 24 games to 19. The teams, were twelve aside, and included several ladies. ' '
