TO THE EDITOR. _ Sir,—lt appears to me that certain em pioyers have -faith that if they go on repeating'their statement, that the majority of the men are satisfied .with their present (or past) conditions and wage, not; only; the men but also the employers themselves will believe it. One speaker at the presentation meeting patted Sir Booth’s men for-signing a petition,, and, speaking for the men, said 99 per cent were satisfied; yet in this one case some eight men out of about forty did. not sign.
