EARTHQUAKE IN THE NEW HEBEIDES. United Press Association —By Electric-Telegraph— Copyright. SYDNEY, May 15. A severe earthquake was experienced in the New Hebrides at the end of March. Its effects were felt principally in the southern islands of the group. Numbers of houses were wrecked. Large fissures opened in the ground. A disease supposed to be Asiatic cholera is raging in the Loyalty Islands. Over seventy deaths have occurred.
