On Saturday a pleasant game was played at Kangiora between the local club and the Amberley club, the latter winning by twenty-seven games. The individual scores were as follow: MEN’S SINGLES—AIIison (E.) beat Pearce (A.)‘ 9-5; Daniell (E.) beat Wagner (A.), 9-6 ; Ogden (E.) beat Coleman (A.),9-6; Mason (A.) beat Smith (B.), 9-6. LADLES’ SINGLES—Miss Pengelly (A.) beat Miss Boyd (K.), 6-2 ; Miss A. Coleman (A.) beat Miss Johnston (E.), 6-1 ; Miss Alice Coleman (A), boat Mrs Gower (E.), 6-3 ; Miss Wagner (A.) beat Mrs Ogden (E.). 6-4. MEN’S DOUBLES—AIIison and Daniel (E.) beat Pearce and Wegner (A.), 9-1; Coleman and Mason (A.) beat Ogden and Smith (E.), 9-4. liADIES’ DOUBLES—Misses Pengelly and A.
