The Carthage, with passengers, mails, parcels post and specie from the steamer China, left Perim on Sunday night for Brindisi. There, were no casualties. The pumps are preventing a slight leak in the afterhold gaining. A powerful salvage steamer has been sent to assist ill getting the China off.
